Emergency Lighting Ballasts

The RideTHRU™ Remote Ballast System was developed to allow Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium Lamps to be used as primary Emergency Lighting. These Emergency Ballasts operate lamps on normal power. When service is interrupted, the Arc within the lamp is maintained at approximately 1% for 20 seconds. When service is restored, or emergency power is tranferred, these lamps immediately return to Full Output.

• Allows use of Arc Lamps on Emergency Lighting Circuits
• "RideThru" Ballast maintains Arc @ Zero Volts for 20 Seconds
• Operates Lamps at Distances up to 400 Feet
• Connects to Building Generator through the Emergency Transfer Switch
• Eliminates Inefficient/High-Maintenance Incandescent and Quartz Restrike Lamps
• Easily Exceed Required Minimum Egress Lighting Levels

RideTHRU Ballasts, like all other LiteWORKS devices, are addressable nodes on the LiteTALK network allowing you to control them from any LiteTALK control station... with our LiteLINK web controls, you can even have control from your iPhone or other handheld device.
